LB Creative

My name is Lucy Burkland, and I am the graphic designer behind LB Creative. I have always had a passion for art and design. Therefore, it was no surprise when I approached Rachel Brandzel Weil, a Seattle designer extraordinaire and previous owner of Real Card Company/RB Creative, to create my wedding invitations. After completing design school and seeing Rachel’s beautiful wedding creation, I sought out a job with RBC. Long story short, I spent the next five years learning from and working with Rachel.

 After nearly 30 years in the stationery world, Rachel has moved on to other things and I took over the reigns, renaming the company LB Creative.

 As a designer, I consider myself a visual story teller. My job is to understand the client’s character, vision and style and represent those details in the materials I create. Creative, crafted and custom ~ my work and design mirrors the personality of each client. Driven to use unique materials, stylish typography, hand lettering and high quality printing, I am able to craft fresh, dynamic projects that set the tone for an event or brand.

 I feel very fortunate to love what I do and share my passion with wonderful clients, both old and new.
